Increasingly, sites like LinkedIn have become important tools to network business contacts and find jobs.

Whilst using social networking tools such as facebook and twitter are usually reserve for “social” encounters, having presence online can be turned into an opportunity to network employer contacts. Mr kapil encouraged users to make the most of digital media to make themselves known. “if” you’re not online, get online,” he said, “start using these services. If you’re not on Twitter, get there. Start Tweeting. “Mr. kapil said that the best online strategy to obtain a job was simply to “be everywhere” in order to promote yourself as much as possible.
