Few people say that Meta tags are not useful on your page because search engines don’t give them much importance. They are right but not completely. Meta Keywords: These are special words that provide the extra information to the spiders and crawlers. The keywords help you in finding the right audience. They also help in generating quality traffic to the website. In the content only 5% of keywords are used within the content. The right density of the Meta keywords & use of appropriate content helps the search engines in determining the position of the web page. Secondly it is these keywords that increase the visibility of the site on search engines. This is prime reason why need to research and look for the right keyword. Now you might be thinking that about the length of keywords & what words should we use when they are an integral part of SEO. Well that depends on your business and how well known you are. Usually the short keywords are used for targeting the large market group and longer keyword are for targeted group, for smaller markets.
Some time you see that some people use Meta title and Meta Description in there site. One thought is coming in your mind what is Meta title. What is use of Meta title and how Meta title is different from Title when we see only title then why we include Meta title is Meta title is essential for site. Then my answer in it depend on owner of the site Meta title and Meta keyword is just use for the purpose of stuffing. It is part of black hat SEO techniques.
